The ASPP Dr. Rick Hansen Memorial Scholarship
It is part of ASPP's mission to support the Candidates of the Postgraduate Psychoanalytic Training Programs at the Derner School of Psychology at Adelphi University.
In this spirit, ASPP is creating The Dr. Rick Hansen Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Once established, the scholarship will provide financial support to candidates in need to help offset the training costs of required supervision and personal analysis.
​
Each year, upon joining or rejoining ASPP, members will have the opportunity to make a small donation to this fund as part of their membership dues.

Dr. Richard Hansen was a gifted analyst, teacher and supervisor who loved his work and the people he worked with. His knowledge and wisdom were, for decades, offered to his students with a sincere sense of generosity and commitment to their professional development. This scholarship is offered as a fitting tribute to his legacy.
